Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the what most of us think about when we hear the word "massage."  It is sometimes also called traditional massage. Swedish massage is performed by a trained and licensed massage therapist who lubricates the bare skin with massage oil and uses gliding and other movements to massage the whole body.  It usually takes 30 to 60 minutes.

The purpose of Swedish massage is to relax the entire body, but it also has a number of other health benefits.  Swedish massage improves blood circulation, increases the level of oxygen in the blood, helps the body removes toxins, improves flexibility, eases tension and helps with pain management.

This is accomplished by using a variety of techniques, primarily rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.

Therapeutic Massage

A therapeutic massage is a kind of massage offered with the goal of obtaining a therapeutic benefit. It is different from relaxation massage, which is performed to aid in relaxation. This type of massage is often relaxing, but the end goal of this session is not relaxation. For instance, someone in physical therapy for an injury might have regular therapeutic massage to improve muscle tone, increase flexibility and loosen muscles. Likewise, it can be used to supplement cancer care, wound care, and many other treatments.
Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.
Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is specialty massage that focuses on the  needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Tiffany is AMAZING... She worked out knots in muscles that I didn't even realize were sore!!! She has a WONDERFUL personality, and is a joy to chat with, as she makes you even more comfortable than I thought possible, in what I was worried might be an embarrassing situation, (as this was my FIRST EVER, professional massage!) It was perfectly relaxing and FUN as well, as I even laughed during some of the session. The prices are VERY reasonable as well.... So, I would strongly recommend this business to ANYONE that is interested in a massage! Go and enjoy yourself!!!!
